If you want a truck with an electrified engine, the Maverick has an option for you. An available 2.5-liter I-4 hybrid engine produces 191 total horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. The standard engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive, with available all-wheel drive. The hybrid engine is paired with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and is only available with front-wheel drive. The Hybrid engine has a fuel economy of 37 miles per gallon combined, making it a great option for saving money on gas.
